Shopping in Tallahassee

Governor's Mall

It is the only super regional shopping mall in Tallahassee, and has Macy's, JC Penny, Sears, and Dillard's department stores and stores like Aldo, Gap, Vitoria's Secret, Yankee Candle, and etc. You could enjoy shopping and take a break at a food court. Sears is closing soon, and I am not sure what will open there though.

An outlet mall will open by the end of 2019 according to Tallahassee Democrat news. I cannot wait to have another shopping center in Tallahassee.

Tallahassee has many small shopping centers people can enjoy. Let me talk about those from now.

NE Tallahassee

Market Square Shopping Center/ The Market District Shops is located between Timeberlane Rd and Thomasville Rd. Au Peche Mignon, French Bakery, Narcissus boutique store and more upscale stores attract locals who want exclusive shopping experience.

Village Square

It is a shopping center on Thomasville near I-10, and has Publix Super Market, Books-A-Million, and Panera Bread where you can enjoy soup and sandwich. There is Killearn Shopping Center near by Village Square, and it has Hobby Lobby where you can buy arts and crafts, and more.

Bannerman Crossings Shopping Center is a fairly new shopping center with upscale stores and fine restaurants. Local boutiques, Red Eye coffee shop, and great restaurants are attracting many locals.

Midtown

Shops in Midtown give a mixed feeling of history and modern. Many small local shops are aligned next to Thomasville Rd. Kool Beanz Cafe, Wataburger, RedEye Coffee, Hideaway, Paisley's Cafe, and more are loved by many locals.

Shopping Near FSU/ Railroad Square Art Park

If you are interested in Arts, this is one of the places you need to try. It is located near FSU, and consists of more than 50 studios, galleries and shops. Every first Friday of month, an event takes place, and many people gather to enjoy foods from food truck, and arts.

Greenwise Market: greenwisemarket.com

This has recently built, and gives great fresh atmosphere. I have been missing this city like atmosphere, and loved shopping and eating at this place. Greenwise handles mostly organic merchandise. You can bring foods you get from Food court to upstairs, and enjoy your food in a comfy sofa.
